About Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is an action adventure game that explores the hidden story between Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Developed by n-Space and published by LucasArts, the game was released in 2008 for multiple platforms, including Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PSP. It introduces a new character to the Star Wars universe while focusing on lightsaber combat, Force abilities, and the conflict between the Empire and the remaining Jedi.

The story follows Starkiller, Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, who is trained to hunt down Jedi survivors across the galaxy. As he completes missions for Vader, Starkiller begins to question his role and discovers a larger conflict involving the Empire, the Rebel Alliance, and his own destiny. The game features familiar Star Wars locations and characters while telling an original story that expands the universe beyond the movies.

You can play Star Wars: The Force Unleashed online on Emulator Games Zone with a NDS Emulator and experience this handheld Force-powered adventure directly in your browser. This version offers a unique approach compared with other releases, using the Nintendo DS touch screen to enhance combat actions and Force abilities. Players control Starkiller through top-down action stages, using different powers, defeating enemies, and solving environmental challenges.

The Nintendo DS version focuses on fast-paced gameplay with shorter missions designed for portable play. Instead of the larger cinematic battles found in console versions, it delivers a more compact experience built around character progression, Force techniques, and strategic combat. Players can unlock and improve abilities while facing enemies from the Galactic Empire.

How To Play

Players control Starkiller through a series of missions where they battle Imperial forces, explore different environments, and complete objectives connected to the story. The gameplay combines action combat, exploration, and puzzle elements, requiring players to make effective use of both lightsaber attacks and Force powers.

Combat revolves around combining physical attacks with special abilities. Players can strike enemies with a lightsaber, use Force powers to attack opponents, and interact with objects in the environment. Different Force abilities provide different ways to handle enemies, allowing players to choose between direct attacks and more tactical approaches.

The NDS version uses touch screen controls for certain Force actions, adding a different feel from traditional button-based combat. Players can perform special moves, activate abilities, and interact with parts of the environment through the handheld system’s features. Missions are designed around quick encounters, enemy battles, and exploration rather than large open areas.

As the adventure progresses, players can strengthen Starkiller’s abilities and unlock new powers to become more effective in battle. The combination of lightsaber combat, Force-based gameplay, and an original Star Wars story makes this version a unique handheld experience focused on becoming one of the galaxy’s most powerful Force users.
