About Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury

Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury is an action RPG based on the later events of the Dragon Ball Z anime series, developed by Webfoot Technologies and published by Atari. It was released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance as the third entry in the Legacy of Goku series, expanding the adventure formula with more characters, abilities, and areas to explore.

The game continues the RPG-style gameplay of the previous titles, combining real-time combat, exploration, and character development. Players can control several Z Fighters, including Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, and others, each with their own attacks and special abilities. As players progress, they can gain experience, improve stats, learn new techniques, and become stronger against increasingly difficult enemies.

The story follows the Majin Buu Saga and continues beyond the original anime storyline, covering events from the arrival of Majin Buu to the final battles against powerful opponents. Players travel through familiar locations, meet characters from the series, and experience important moments while taking part in new adventures created specifically for the game.

You can play Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury online on Emulator Games Zone with a GBA Emulator and experience this handheld RPG adventure directly in your browser. This version expands the previous games with a larger world, more playable characters, improved combat options, and additional RPG elements that make exploration and character growth a bigger part of the journey.

Players can switch between different fighters, use unique techniques, collect items, complete missions, and battle enemies across a variety of areas. Compared with earlier entries in the series, this game adds more equipment, side activities, and character customization options, giving players more ways to develop their team while following the final chapters of the Dragon Ball Z story.

How To Play

Players explore a top-down adventure world while controlling members of the Z Fighters through the events of the Majin Buu Saga. The gameplay combines exploration, real-time battles, quests, and RPG progression, requiring players to complete missions and strengthen their characters throughout the journey.

Combat takes place directly on the map, allowing players to attack enemies using punches, kicks, energy blasts, and powerful special moves. Each character has different abilities, and players can switch between fighters depending on the situation. Stronger techniques consume energy, so managing resources during battles is important when facing tougher opponents.

The adventure includes many areas to explore, from cities and forests to locations connected with major events from the anime. Players can talk with characters, find items, complete side quests, and collect rewards that help improve their fighters. Experience gained from battles allows characters to level up, increase their stats, and unlock new skills.

This GBA version builds on the previous Legacy of Goku games with a deeper RPG system and a wider selection of playable characters. Players can customize their fighters with equipment, train their abilities, and experience a longer adventure that combines the action of Dragon Ball Z battles with the progression of an RPG journey.
